Christy Silvestri
Christy has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry with 10 in a management role leading the operations side of insurance brokerages. Christy was an active member of IBANS and served on the Board of Directors for 2 years pushing positive change through the industry. Christy has achieved CAIB Level 4 and taught CAIB Levels 1-3 through IBANS.
Jessica McKay
Jessica has spent much of her career on the carrier side of the insurance industry. During that time, training was an integral part of her responsibilities. Jessica values all of the advantages technology brings to the modern business world while appreciating the continuous learning and refining required to reach their full potential. Jessica is motivated to declutter the confusion so others can have that coveted “lightbulb” moment.
Rebecca Buckley
Rebecca has worked in the insurance industry for over 14 years, with experience on both the company and broker sides. Over the last 4 years, she managed a small Atlantic brokerage, where she found a love for training and education. Rebecca holds a BA degree from Saint Mary's, a Masters of Library and Information Studies degree from Dalhousie, and has completed all 4 CAIB courses. Rebecca is excited to help our users craft workflows and train brokers, creating confidence in brokerages.
Pamela Gordon
Pam has over 12 years of extensive experience in the insurance industry as an underwriter and broker. She will be using her knowledge and experience to work closely with brokers to ease the pressure of the rapidly changing industry we are currently facing. Pam has been a part of the Young Brokers Network for the past 2 years on PEI to encourage and guide the next upcoming generation. Her spare time passion is travelling and exploring new hiking spots.
Rachel Webb
Rachel is a Halifax local that graduated from Dalhousie University with a degree in a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Management. Rachel began her career in insurance through a local brokerage and completed all 4 CAIB programs, determined to soak up all the knowledge she could from those around her. Rachel enjoys spending time with her friends and family outdoors or picking up a good book in her free time. She now joins QuickFacts as a Content Creator, determined to bring quality, accurate information to our users. She will also be providing new, innovative resources regularly.
Mitchell Matheson
Mitchell has 18 years of experience as a developer and has led national teams. He has extensive knowledge of stacks and frameworks, having built, improved, and maintained a comprehensive software portfolio for global brands. Mitchell will be focusing on the vision for our insurance software and bringing it to life. The technological innovations will continue to bring additional value to our broker customers and keep QuickFacts the number one resource for brokerage operations.
Chris Bower
Chris is a senior product designer with 15+ years of experience designing digital products and websites spanning multiple industries. Over the last decade, he has led design efforts, provided UI/UX guidance and consulted with startups, national agencies, and businesses all over the world. His work encompasses all facets of design, from the big-picture strategy down to pixel-level prototypes. He combines design thinking, user research, and experience strategy with top-notch visual design, always with a clear focus on the end user.
Eric Cox
Eric is a Computer Science graduate from Acadia University with 2 years of full-stack development experience. Enabling local businesses to strive is something he is passionate about and hopes the software he helps create makes a meaningful impact on people's lives. Eric worked at a small Halifax food safety startup, where he played a key role in developing their current web platform.
Benjamin Portman
Benjamin is a passionate computer science student with a great interest in machine learning. This passion is evident from his stellar GPA of 4.2 and the recent completion of an NSERC USRA that allowed him to author (design and implement) a linear genetic programming code base in Java for ongoing research. Ben will be responsible for maintaining the existing software and developing the upgraded new software.

With sales experience dating back 20 years and an MBA from Saint Mary’s University to his name, Jeff understands how to uncover business pain points and firmly believes in offering lasting solutions. Jeff has been integral in launching the company, developing the sales process and creating marketing materials.
